Hemet, CA — Theodore Bigley, 61, tragically lost his life when he lost control of his SUV and crashed at a Hemet mobile home park, authorities disclosed on Wednesday.
The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday at Echo Hill Estates in the 1700 block of South State Street, near Chambers Street, according to the Hemet Police Department.
Upon arrival, Hemet Fire Department paramedics pronounced Bigley, a Hemet resident, dead at the scene, within 10 minutes of the crash.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation by authorities. Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact the police department at 951-765-2400.
Police stated that Bigley was driving his GMC Envoy eastbound through the park when he “accelerated, leaving the roadway.”
The SUV overturned in front of one of the residences, rolling at least once, according to a police statement.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and there was no damage to any of the mobile homes.
