Tragedy struck in Jurupa Valley on Sunday morning as a bicyclist lost their life after being struck by a vehicle, announced the Riverside County Fire Department.
The incident unfolded around 11:10 a.m. in the 10500 block of Jurupa Road. Authorities responded to the scene, finding the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, trapped and requiring extrication. The driver sustained serious injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. Reports indicated that the vehicle had collided not only with the bicyclist but also with a power pole.
