The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department disclosed on Monday, April 8, that two men were discovered deceased outside a car that had crashed into a ravine in Jurupa Valley.
According to Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s department, an abandoned white sedan was reported by someone in the vicinity of Sierra Avenue and Karen Lane around 3:15 p.m. Deputies responded and located the vehicle, which exhibited damage from an apparent collision. Subsequently, the deputies found two men outside the car, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.
The duration the car had been in the location remained uncertain.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation,” Brito-Gonzalez stated.
