On the night of June 24, 2024, at approximately 11:25 PM, San Bernardino police officers, county firefighters, and AMR paramedics responded to a reported gunshot victim near 2826 West Rialto Ave, the location of the Wonderland Collective, a marijuana dispensary.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a gunshot victim around the corner from the dispensary. Emergency responders from County Fire and AMR pronounced the individual dead at the scene.
Following this discovery, San Bernardino police focused their efforts on the Wonderland Collective building, surrounding the area. Officers are engaged in a standoff, urging a possible suspect to surrender. It remains unclear if the suspect is actually inside the dispensary.
As of 3:00 AM, the standoff is ongoing, with SWAT teams actively involved. The SWAT BEARCAT vehicle has also arrived at the scene to assist in the operation.
