[12-22-2023] Multiple Injuries Reported in Afternoon Crash on Banning’s I-10

BANNING, CA — A crash on Thursday afternoon near the Interstate 10 onramp at 22nd Street in Banning resulted in injuries and traffic delays. The incident, reported at 12:56 p.m., involved a single vehicle, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) indicated that four individuals sustained minor injuries, while two others suffered moderate injuries. Among the victims, three were juveniles. Emergency services responded promptly, and all injured individuals were transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance.

As of 3 p.m., traffic in the area was moving, albeit at a slow pace. The CHP is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The incident highlights the importance of caution and adherence to traffic regulations to prevent accidents and ensure road safety.
