San Bernardino, CA — A high-speed crash near 30th Street and Broadmoor Boulevard early Sunday morning, December 29, 2024, resulted in a fiery collision and left one person injured.
San Bernardino Police Department (SBPD), County Fire, California Highway Patrol (CHP), and AMR responded to the scene just before 1:00 AM. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle engulfed in flames with three occupants reportedly trapped inside.
Emergency crews managed to transport one individual with unknown injuries. While two additional ambulances were initially requested, they were later canceled. It remains unconfirmed if additional victims were found in the vehicle or if any fatalities occurred.
Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle was traveling southbound on Broadmoor Boulevard at high speed when it struck a guardrail. The collision sent the vehicle airborne over a chain-link fence and into nearby bushes, where it caught fire.
