A residence on Hesperia Avenue in Encino was targeted by burglars on December 6, 2024, at approximately 11:50 AM, marking the sixth break-in over the years, according to the frustrated homeowners. The incident occurred just days after a previous burglary at the same property.
The suspects, captured on CCTV, were seen wearing all-black clothing and masks as they moved on the second floor of the home. Their plans were interrupted when a car approached the gate, prompting them to flee the scene.
The owner expressed deep frustration despite security measures like an iron gate and barbed wire. In the earlier burglary, which occurred around 3:00 PM, suspects entered by breaking a window but fled when confronted by the owner’s mother.
The homeowner, who owns several urgent care clinics, declined to comment on what was taken. Authorities are reviewing the CCTV footage as part of the ongoing investigation.
