On November 30, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers from the LAPD Hollenbeck Division initiated a pursuit of a white sedan for reasons that remain unknown. The suspect vehicle drove recklessly through the 101 and 10 freeways before coming to a stop at the top of the off-ramp at Atlantic Boulevard.
Upon stopping, two suspects fled the scene on foot. One suspect was apprehended just a block away on Olive Avenue, between Ramona Road and Hellman Avenue.
In addition to the suspects, LAPD officers also rescued a dog that had escaped from the sedan when the suspects abandoned the vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation by LAPD Hollenbeck.
