A late-night armed robbery at a taco stand near Torrance Boulevard and Denker Avenue has left two employees injured. The incident occurred around 11:00 PM on November 15, 2024.
According to witnesses, a group of three to four Hispanic males armed with guns stormed the stand, assaulting employees and stealing nearly $2,000. Two workers were brutally beaten, with one sustaining serious head injuries after being struck with a gun. This individual was transported to a hospital, while the other victim declined hospitalization after receiving treatment on-site.
During the robbery, the suspects fired a shot, though no one was hit. Police are investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
