A driver is fortunate to be alive after crashing his vehicle into a cinder block wall on Crestline Road on the evening of November 14, 2024. At approximately 7:30 PM, first responders were dispatched to the scene of a reported traffic collision involving a trapped driver. Upon arrival, emergency teams discovered an older model Ford pickup truck had collided with a wall next to a building, leaving the driver trapped inside.
Firefighters worked diligently for 25 to 30 minutes to extricate the victim from the wreckage. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver may have been intoxicated, as law enforcement is investigating whether he had been at a nearby bar before the crash. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is currently looking into the incident, with a DUI investigation underway.
