A tragic hit-and-run accident on November 10, 2024, has left authorities seeking witnesses to piece together the events. The incident occurred at 8:05 p.m. on the 6100 block of the Southwest Freeway frontage road.
According to reports, a pedestrian was struck by a man driving a red sedan on an exit ramp. The driver claimed the pedestrian was running across the lane when the collision occurred, propelling the individual into the service road. There, the pedestrian was reportedly struck again by a white vehicle, possibly an SUV, which fled the scene.
Currently, no video evidence of the crash has surfaced, leaving the driver’s account as the primary source of information. The investigation is further complicated by limited road evidence, as resurfacing work was ongoing in the area.

Authorities urge anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant information to contact the Houston Police Department immediately.
