A fatal hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred late on October 21 in Westminster, California. At about 10:18 PM, Westminster Police Department officers were dispatched to the eastbound lanes of Westminster Blvd., near Yockey St., following reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers and the Orange County Fire Authority attempted life-saving measures on the victim, but he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect’s vehicle, believed to be a newer model, dark-colored sedan, was last seen traveling eastbound on Westminster Blvd. before officers arrived at the scene. The Westminster Police Department’s Traffic Bureau is actively investigating the incident.
