A house fire broke out late Tuesday evening on Loma Lane in Baldwin Park, prompting multiple emergency calls to the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD). When Baldwin Park Police Department (BPPD) and LACoFD arrived on the scene, they found the home fully engulfed in flames with heavy smoke billowing from the structure.
Officers from BPPD grabbed nearby water hoses and assisted firefighters in their efforts to contain the blaze. The intense fire also spread to two vehicles parked in the driveway, and part of the garage roof collapsed due to the flames.
LACoFD managed to extinguish the fire within 25 to 35 minutes, preventing it from spreading to neighboring homes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet determined whether there were any injuries or if any pets were inside the residence at the time.
The quick response and collaboration between Baldwin Park PD and LACoFD helped mitigate the damage, though the home sustained significant losses. Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
