According to initial reports, the driver of a Lexus SUV was traveling northbound on Ratcliffe Drive and attempting a left turn onto westbound Governor Drive. At the same time, the driver of a BMW sedan was traveling southbound on Ratcliffe Drive. The BMW collided with the Lexus, resulting in a T-bone impact.
The force of the collision caused the Lexus to flip onto its side. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene and extricated the Lexus driver from the wreckage. She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries, the extent of which is currently unknown.
