In the early hours of July 8, a significant structure fire broke out at 425 Lake Street, Westlake. The incident, reported at 3:53 AM, involved a two-story residence that was engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived on the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy fire on the second story, which had already spread through the roof of the building. Due to the severity of the blaze, the incident was quickly upgraded to a greater alarm, prompting additional resources and personnel to be dispatched.
