On the evening of June 29th, 2024, at approximately 7:40 PM, a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Broadway and East St. in Anaheim. Anaheim Police Department and Fire Services quickly responded to the scene of the accident, which involved two vehicles, one of which had overturned.

Firefighters worked to extricate the occupants from both vehicles. A total of four individuals, including a 3-year-old child, were transported to the hospital with injuries that are currently unknown.

Preliminary reports suggest that one of the vehicles may have run a red light, although this has not been confirmed. The intersection remains closed as Anaheim PD continues its investigation into the cause of the accident. It is also currently unclear if drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they work to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
