Commerce, CA – March 29, 2025 – 12:00 a.m. – A tragic workplace incident claimed the life of an employee early Saturday morning at Strategic Materials Inc., located in the 7000 block of Bandini Boulevard.
Emergency crews responded to reports of workers trapped beneath a cement block inside the facility. First responders used hand tools and a wooden pallet in an attempt to extricate the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
