San Marcos, CA – March 25, 2025 – 6:50 p.m. – A police pursuit in San Marcos ended with two suspects in custody after reports of a person displaying a firearm in a threatening manner prompted a response from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of a suspect brandishing a firearm. A vehicle matching the suspect’s description was soon located, and deputies attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle refused to pull over, initiating a high-speed pursuit through the area, with the suspect vehicle reportedly reaching speeds of over 80 miles per hour.
