Riverside, CA – March 23, 2025 – A road rage altercation in Riverside escalated into a physical confrontation that left both individuals injured Sunday afternoon.
According to Riverside Police Department PIO Ryan Railsback, officers responded at 4:00 PM to reports of an incident near E. Alessandro Blvd. A suspect had allegedly followed another driver into a Starbucks drive-through in the 300 block of E. Alessandro Blvd., where a violent altercation ensued.
During the confrontation, the suspect choked the victim, prompting the victim to stab the suspect in the arm in self-defense. The suspect then fled the scene but was later located hiding in a dumpster area nearby. Both individuals sustained injuries and were transported to hospitals for treatment.
