On December 13, 2024, at approximately 9 p.m., a shooting erupted in a parking lot at 6237 Bellaire in Houston, leaving three victims with varying degrees of injury.
A 15-year-old female was tragically pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital by friends. A 19-year-old male, who underwent surgery, is in critical condition, while a 29-year-old male, who was also shot, is expected to survive and can speak.
The shooting involved two vehicles: a silver Honda Civic and a black Chevrolet Trailblazer. According to reports, at least three, possibly four, individuals were involved. Two people were believed to be inside the Trailblazer, which was parked in the lot, while two others were in the Honda Civic. Additionally, a male armed with a rifle was also present and fired shots.
The incident reportedly began when shots were fired from the Trailblazer toward the Civic. The occupants of the Civic then returned fire, believed to have been using a pistol. Officers found only the 19-year-old male victim at the scene inside the Honda Civic, while the other victims were transported separately.
Investigators are actively working to identify the individuals involved, particularly those in the Trailblazer. The connection of the female victim to the shooting remains unclear. Authorities are continuing to gather more information about the incident.
