A serious multi-vehicle collision took place on Sherman Way in Los Angeles at approximately 9:55 p.m., resulting in significant damage, injuries, and road closures. Emergency services, including the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), responded to the scene at 14561 Sherman Way, where they found a white Honda split in half and two male occupants, approximately 35 years old, ejected from the vehicle.
Initial reports suggest a black Mercedes and a grey Rolls Royce may have been racing at the time of the accident, with the Rolls Royce driver fleeing the scene immediately following the crash. Another woman, driving a white Chevy SUV, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division (VTD) is on-site conducting an investigation into the incident, with one of the Honda’s occupants reported in critical condition. Authorities have closed Sherman Way between Kester Avenue and Van Nuys Boulevard for an indefinite period as they continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
