San Diego,06-29-2025, A rollover crash early Sunday morning on June 29, 2025, led to the arrest of a suspected DUI driver and left one passenger with major injuries on the southbound I-5 near Dairy Mart Road in San Diego. At approximately 5:42 AM, emergency services were alerted to a vehicle rollover on the freeway. According to reports, the driver lost control, causing the car to leave the roadway, roll multiple times, and come to rest on its roof in the #4 lane. Three federal personnel—two agents and a federal EMT—were in the area and witnessed the crash, quickly stopping to render aid. The male driver was able to be extricated without injuries, but the male passenger was trapped inside the wrecked vehicle. San Diego Fire-Rescue crews arrived promptly and successfully extricated the passenger, who suffered major trauma to multiple areas of his body and was transported to a nearby trauma center for emergency care.
