MORENO VALLEY, CA – A violent shooting late Saturday night left six teenage boys wounded, including several with life-threatening injuries, after gunfire erupted in a Moreno Valley neighborhood. The incident occurred around 10:56 p.m. on Orchid Lane near Hemlock Avenue, prompting a large emergency response from Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies and local fire personnel. When deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station arrived, they found five male victims near the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A sixth victim later arrived at a hospital independently and was confirmed to be connected to the same incident. Deputies and paramedics provided life-saving aid at the scene before all six teenagers — ranging in age from 14 to 18 — were transported to local hospitals. Video footage from the area shows five ambulances departing the scene, underscoring the severity of the event. As of now, no suspects have been identified or arrested, and the motive behind the shooting remains under investigation. Authorities have not released the names of the victims due to their ages and the active nature of the case.
