WOODLAND HILLS, CA — At approximately 4:00 a.m. Tuesday, three suspects executed a calculated rooftop burglary targeting a jewelry store near Canoga Avenue and Ventura Boulevard, authorities confirmed. According to LAPD investigators, the suspects gained access by cutting a hole in the roof of the adjacent business, descending inside via ladder, and then breaching a wall to enter the jewelry store. An unknown quantity of jewelry was stolen during the heist before the suspects fled the scene. Detectives believe the same suspects may be responsible for a similar burglary reported in the Topanga area just one day earlier, raising concerns about an organized group targeting high-value retail locations. The LAPD is reviewing surveillance footage and seeking public assistance in identifying the suspects.
