Perris, CA — A tragic collision on the night of May 29, 2025, has left one woman dead and a local man facing multiple felony charges after a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on Interstate 215 southbound, just south of Placentia Avenue. The incident occurred around 9:35 p.m. when California Highway Patrol (CHP) units from the Riverside division responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on the I-215 on-ramp.
