At approximately 9:32 p.m., emergency responders from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Riverside Fire Department, and American Medical Response (AMR) rushed to the scene of a violent two-vehicle collision. The crash involved a red sedan and an SUV that overturned during the impact. First on the scene, AMR paramedics discovered an unconscious male driver trapped inside the red sedan. Riverside Fire personnel initiated a rapid extrication, working under intense conditions while all southbound lanes of the 215 Freeway were temporarily shut down to accommodate rescue efforts. According to authorities, a total of six additional victims were located in the overturned SUV. Emergency crews transported all six to local hospitals for treatment.
