Early Monday morning, a major commercial fire broke out in Houston, prompting a large-scale response from the Houston Fire Department (HFD). At approximately 4:50 a.m., HFD units were dispatched to reports of a large commercial fire initially reported at 6497 Navigation Blvd. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a commercial structure fully engulfed in flames. The incident address was later updated to 6418 Esperson St, where crews focused their efforts. Multiple ladder trucks were deployed, and firefighters utilized at least two aerial lines to attack the fire from above. Heavy flames and smoke were visible as the intense fire tore through the structure, threatening nearby businesses. The firefight remains ongoing as HFD works to contain and extinguish the blaze. There have been no immediate reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
