In the early hours of Tuesday, May 13, 2025, a high-speed police pursuit that began in Glendora ended in San Bernardino with the apprehension of a male driver and female passenger. The pursuit was initiated by Glendora Police Department officers in response to reports involving a possible 415 (disturbance) and 417 (person with a weapon) suspect who was believed to be armed. The suspect vehicle entered the eastbound 210 Freeway as California Highway Patrol units joined the pursuit. The chase spanned multiple cities before the suspect eventually exited the freeway at Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino. The pursuit concluded at the intersection of Golden Avenue and East Highland Avenue, where the suspect came to a stop.CHP officers swiftly took both the male driver and a female passenger into custody without further incident. No additional occupants were found inside the vehicle. Glendora PD later assumed custody of the primary suspect as part of their ongoing investigation. At this time, authorities have not confirmed whether any weapons were recovered from the vehicle.
