Los Angeles, CA — April 24, 2026 — A fatal early morning crash in the Hollenbeck neighborhood of Los Angeles left one person dead and prompted an ongoing investigation by local authorities. The collision occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. near the intersection of 4th Street and South Clarence Street. Emergency responders, including crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department, arrived at the scene shortly after receiving reports of a serious traffic accident involving multiple vehicles. Firefighters worked quickly to extricate one victim who was trapped inside a severely damaged vehicle. Despite their efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending notification of next of kin. A second individual involved in the crash was evaluated at the scene by paramedics. Details regarding their condition have not been publicly disclosed, but officials indicated that medical personnel provided immediate care before determining whether further treatment was necessary.
