April 19, 2025 – Anaheim, CA – A suspected DUI crash in Anaheim early Saturday morning resulted in one driver being hospitalized and an active investigation by local authorities. At approximately 1:07 a.m., units from the Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Colchester Drive and Gilbert Avenue. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered that a vehicle had collided with a truck. The driver of the striking vehicle, believed to be under the influence, sustained unknown injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the occupants of the truck were uninjured in the collision. The intersection remains closed as the investigation continues, and police are working to determine the full circumstances leading to the crash.
