KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES — April 12, 2025 | 12:45 AM — A wild scene unfolded in Koreatown early Saturday morning after a driver ran a red light, crashed into an SUV, and then attempted to evade arrest unusually — by stripping down and hiding between two buildings. The crash occurred at the intersection of San Marino Street and Irolo Street, where a small car collided with an SUV after reportedly blowing through a red light. Following the crash, the driver of the small car fled the scene on foot, eventually ditching his clothes, down to green underwear, as he attempted to hide between two nearby apartment buildings.LAPD officers quickly responded and located the suspect near Ardmore Avenue and San Marino Street. He was taken into custody wearing only his underwear. Video from the scene captured the strange aftermath, including the man’s shoes and pants left behind at the scene of his arrest.
