San Diego, CA – In the early morning hours of March 6, 2025, emergency responders were called to two separate but closely located incidents involving injured pedestrians lying in the street.
At approximately 4:34 a.m., paramedics encountered a man in the middle of W Washington & Hancock Street. Though he appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, he was aggressive and provided little information about the incident.
About 30 minutes later, at a second location south of Whiterby Street, another male was discovered in the roadway. Nearby, responders found pieces of a vehicle and the man’s shoe approximately 50 feet away. He was in significant pain and, when asked if he had been hit by a car, responded, “I don’t know.”
Both individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment, with the second man suffering from more severe injuries. Authorities are investigating the incidents.
