MURRIETA, CA — The Riverside County coroner’s bureau disclosed the identity of the victim in a fatal head-on collision as 83-year-old Lilia Seno from Winchester. Seno lost her life about an hour after the crash, and she was pronounced dead at Inland Valley Medical Center.
The collision occurred around 6:45 a.m. on Sunday on Whitewood Road, south of Clinton Keith Road, according to the Murrieta Police Department. Both drivers involved in the crash were promptly transported to a hospital, where they maintained stable vital signs.
Seno was a passenger in one of the vehicles, and investigators suspect that one of the vehicles was traveling on the wrong side of the road before the collision. The preliminary investigation indicates that speed wasn’t a contributing factor, and there’s no evidence of driver impairment.
