A tragic incident occurred in Jurupa Valley on Saturday when a pedestrian lost her life in a hit-and-run accident. The collision transpired at 4:24 a.m. in the 4000 block of Etiwanda Avenue, south of Van Buren Boulevard, as reported by Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Rafael Lopez.
Upon the arrival of Riverside County sheriff’s deputies, they discovered a female victim in a business parking lot with evident signs of trauma. Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. However, the driver and the involved vehicle had fled before law enforcement arrived.
Efforts to identify the driver and the vehicle are currently underway. The identity of the deceased woman has not been disclosed at this time.
